Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)
EFAW is a 1 day course that provides individuals with the basic knowledge and skills to provide immediate, life saving, first aid.
The course teaches the skills (and builds the confidence) of the candidate to be able help any person who is injured or taken ill in a work environment and covers:-
Unresponsive and not breathing, Seizures & fits, Bleeding, Breaks, Choking, Burns & Shock.
Online Reference Resources & Worksafe Certificate provided upon completion.
Prices:

This course can be taken as a stand alone course but can also be taken as part of the periodic driver CPC.

First Aid Awareness (Non certified, general awareness)
First Aid Awareness is a 1 day course that provides individuals with the basic knowledge and skills to provide immediate, life saving, first aid.
The course teaches the skills (and builds the confidence) of the candidate to be able help any person who is injured or taken ill in a work environment and covers:-
Unresponsive and not breathing, Seizures & fits, Bleeding, Breaks, Choking, Burns & Shock.
This course is simply an introduction to First Aid that is theory based and not certified. (For certified training please attend one of our EFAW or First Aid at Work courses).

£80 per person (+VAT)
This course can be taken as a stand alone course but can also be taken as part of the periodic driver CPC (additional £8.75 DVSA Upload Fee).

First Aid at Work
First Aid at Work is 3 day course suitable for anyone who is the responsible First Aider at their workplace, sports club, volunteering venue or anyone working in a higher risk environment (or a site where there are large numbers of staff). This course meets the HSE First Aid regulations.
The course is more in depth than the EFAW 1 day course and covers a wide range of medical emergencies allowing the candidate to become confident and proficient in providing care in an emergency situation.
The course covers:- Unresponsive and breathing, Unresponsive and not breathing, Seizures & fits, Bleeding, Breaks, Choking, Burns, Shock, Hypothermia/Heat exhaustion, Heart attack, Dead injury, Angina attack, Stroke, Asthma, Allergic reactions, Diabetic incidents, Electrocution & Poisoning.
Online Reference Resources & Worksafe Certificate provided upon completion.
