Who Needs Trailer Training?
Anyone who took their B category (car) test after January 1997 is required to pass an additional driving test to be allowed to tow a trailer exceeding 750kgs. If you fall into this category and want to tow anything heavier than an empty trailer, you need trailer training to gain your B+E licence.
We have a choice of three vehicles so that our pupils get the best vehicle to meet their driving style. A choice of Nissan Navara, Volvo V50 Estate or BMW 1 Series are available. Alternatively we can train in your own, suitable, vehicle with our training trailer if you prefer.
